The Coptic Orthodox Church, headed by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, congratulates His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, our valiant armed forces, and the great Egyptian people, on the fiftieth anniversary of the glorious October victory.
In this golden jubilee, we recall from memory, along with the Egyptians, how the people of this nation, the army and the people, came together and faced the enemies to achieve victory and exaltation. We are confident that the spirit of the heroes of this precious victory is the spirit of the Egyptians today, who are uniting as people and leaders to reach a future befitting the Egypt of victory and the new republic.
We pray that God will preserve our precious Egypt and strengthen its path to further progress and prosperity.
