His Holiness Pope Tawadros II received at the Papal Residence in Cairo today, Monday, Ambassador Nermin Al-Zawahiri, the new Egyptian ambassador to the Republic of Rwanda.
His Holiness also received Ambassador Rania Al-Banna, the current Egyptian ambassador to Rwanda.
H.H. thanked both of them for the efforts made to establish the first Coptic Orthodox church in the Rwandan capital, Kigali.
His Holiness stressed the Coptic Church’s interest in supporting African communities by sending medical convoys and establishing clinics and hospitals to serve these communities in the name of Egypt.
