His Holiness Pope Tawadros II met at the Papal Residence in Cairo this Monday evening, His Eminence Metropolitan Danial, Metropolitan of the Diocese of Maadi and Secretary of the Holy Synod, accompanied by the priests of the Diocese and their families, and the deacons who serve in the churches of Maadi.

This meeting comes within the framework of His Holiness the Pope’s follow-up of pastoral work in Cairo.

His Eminence Metropolitan Danial spoke at the beginning of the meeting, thanking His Holiness for his interest in following up on the conditions of the priests and checking on them and their families.
For his part, His Holiness welcomed them and delivered a spiritual speech, then answered the questions they asked His Holiness.
In conclusion, His Holiness
distributed gifts to them, and they took a memorial photos with His Holiness.
