His Holiness Pope Tawadros II met at the Papal Residence in Cairo this Monday evening, with the priests of the churches of the southern Shobra sector, and their families, accompanied by H.G. Bishop Makary, the General Gishop of the sector, as part of His Holiness’ follow-up of pastoral work in the churches of Cairo.

At the beginning of the meeting, H.G. Bishop Makary spoke, thanking His Holiness for his constant interest in following up on service conditions in the sector, meeting with the priests and checking on them, their families, and their service.

Then His Holiness spoke, welcoming the attendees, giving them a spiritual speech, and answering their questions.

In conclusion, His Holiness distributed gifts to them, and they took memorial photos with His Holiness.

On September 26, His Holiness the Pope met with the general bishops of the pastoral sectors in Cairo. During the meeting, several pastoral matters were arranged, including successive meetings with the priests of the pastoral sectors in Cairo.
