His Holiness Pope Tawadros II met at the Papal Residence in Cairo this Monday evening, with the priests of the churches of the Ain Shams, Mataria & Helmeyat Al Zaytoun, and their families, accompanied by H.G. Bishop Axios, the General Bishop of the sector, within the framework of His Holiness the Pope’s follow-up of service work in the pastoral sectors in Cairo.

At the beginning of the meeting, H.G. Bishop Axios thanked His Holiness the Pope for arranging this meeting, to follow up on the conditions of the sector’s priests and the progress of their service matters, and to check on them and their families.

Then His Holiness delivered an spiritual talk to them, at the beginning of which H.H. welcomed them, and led a dialogue with them after the speech ended, discussing them and answering their questions.

In conclusion, His Holiness distributed gifts to them, and they took memorial photos with His Holiness.
