His Holiness Pope Tawadros II met at the Papal Residence in Cairo this evening, Tuesday, with the priests of the churches of the Old Cairo, Manial, and Fom El-Khalig sectors, and their families, accompanied by H.G. Bishop Yolios, the general bishop of the sector.

This meeting comes within the framework of His Holiness the Pope’s follow-up of service work in the pastoral sectors in Cairo, as His Holiness met with the priests of several sectors in Cairo during the past weeks.

At the beginning of the meeting, H.G. Bishop Yolios thanked His Holiness for his constant keenness to follow up on service conditions in the sector, and to meet with the priests and check on them, their families, and their service. H.G. presented the administrative system in the sector, which includes the precise distribution of responsibilities, ensuring the care of all groups serving in the churches of the sector.

Then His Holiness spoke, welcoming the attendees and giving them a spiritual word, and answered their questions that they addressed to His Holiness after the speech ended.

In conclusion, His Holiness distributed gifts to them and they took memorial photos with His Holiness.
