The Coptic Orthodox Church, headed by H.H. Pope Tawadros II, mourns His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Prince of Kuwait, who passed away today at the age of 86 after spending his life serving his country, Kuwait, in various positions and being a good successor to his good predecessor.

We offer our condolences to our brethren in Kuwait and members of the honorable family on the death of this leader, recalling his historical stances in supporting the Arab nation during difficult times. We wish them great comfort, and for the continuation of the path of prosperity and progress in the footsteps of their late and great predecessor.
