The Egyptian Coptic Orthodox Church, headed by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, congratulates His Highness Sheikh Meshaal Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on the occasion of taking the honorable position of Emir of the State of Kuwait.

We are confident that His Highness the Emir, who has a distinguished history of major national responsibilities, will continue on the path of construction and progress, and develop it in a way that preserves and increases the prosperity and interests of the brotherly people of Kuwait.
