His Holiness Pope Tawadros II announced that His Holiness’s weekly Wednesday meeting will be temporarily suspended, starting next Wednesday, January 3, and will resume in the first week of Lent, next Wednesday, March 13.

This came at the conclusion of the sermon at the same meeting, which H.H. held in the Church of the Apostles Saint Mark and Saint Luke in the Central Mokattam.
His Holiness indicated that the suspension of the meeting was due to the preoccupation with church holidays and events taking place in the coming period, starting from Christmas until the Nineveh Fast.
In today’s meeting, His Holiness concluded his series of reflections on the prayers of the Gregorian Mass, which continued over the course of 22 sermons at the meeting, which H.H. began on Wednesday, July 12th.
