H.H. Pope Tawadros II received, at the Papal Residence in Cairo today (Tuesday), Counselor Massad Abdel Maqsoud El-Fakharani, head of the State Lawsuits Authority, and his accompanying delegation from the authority, who congratulated His Holiness on the glorious Feast of Nativity.

The Chairman of the Authority expressed his happiness, and that of his accompanying delegation, at meeting Pope Tawadros. He praises the historic national stances of His Holiness which preserved Egypt in critical moments of the country’s history.

For his part, Pope Tawadros welcomed the delegation of the State Lawsuits Authority, emphasizing that the homeland is dear to all Egyptians. He added: “The Church is keen to instill the patriotic spirit in the souls of her children, even placing national topics in the Church education curricula.”

The delegation of the State Lawsuits Authority consisted of Counselor Mahmoud Abd El- Gaber (Vice President and Member of the Supreme Council of the Authority), Counselor Mohamed Hassan (Vice President of the Authority and Secretary-General), Counselor Ahmed Saad (Vice President of the Authority and supervisor of the Authority’s Chairman’s office), Counselor Walid Anani (Vice President of the Authority and Assistant Secretary-General for Digital Transformation Affairs and Events) and Counselor Dr. Boulos Boktor, the Authority’s representative.
