His Holiness Pope Tawadros II received at the Papal Residence in Cairo today, Friday, a number of bishops who came to congratulate His Holiness on the Nativity Feast.

Bishop Domadious, Bishop of 6th October City, H.G. Bishop Ologios, Bishop and Abbott of St. Shenouda Monastery, Sohag, H.G. Bishop Elarion, Bishop of Red Sea, H.G. Bishop Arsanious,
Bishop of New Valley, H.G. Bishop Bisenti, Bishop of Abnoub, Fattah and New Assiut, H.G. Bishop Nofer, Bishop of Shibin El Qanater.
His Holiness welcomed them and congratulated them on the festive season, and pointed out that the birth of Jesus Christ in a poor place reminds us of our permanent responsibility towards the poor, a responsibility that increases with the current living difficulties.
His Holiness pointed out that we must thank God for the stability in Egypt amid many unrest in our region and in the world, in addition to global economic conditions.
His Holiness commended the visit of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to the Cathedral of the Nativity to congratulate him on the feast, commending the good spirit that prevailed in the feast congratulations by officials and representatives of all agencies, bodies and institutions.
