This evening, the committees of the Holy Synod resumed their meetings, where the Care and Service Committee held its meeting, headed by the committee’s head, H.G. Bishop Youanes, Bishop of Assiut. It discussed a number of topics through the work of its subcommittees, which are the committees for serving the Brothers of Christ, mental health and combating addiction, guest homes, and care expatriates, prisons, social development, health care, people with special abilities, social development.
This was followed by a meeting of the Synod Committee for the Family, headed by H.E. Metropolitan Maximos, where the heads of the subcommittees comprising the main committee reviewed the work reports of the committees, which are the committees of those about to get married, married couples, women, the elderly, childhood, and men’s service.
The meetings of the remaining committees of the Holy Synod will continue tomorrow and the day after.
