This Wednesday morning, the Standing Committee of the Holy Synod held its meeting under the chairmanship of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II at the Papal Residence in Cairo, at the end of the meetings of the synod committees that began the day before yesterday.

The committee, which consists of rapporteurs of the main council committees, discussed a number of key files that were presented on the agenda of the Synod committees during the past two days.

The last meeting is scheduled to be held by the Secretariat Committee meeting this evening to prepare for the general session of the Holy Synod.
