It was decided that funeral prayers would be held for the Three Monks:
– The Hegomen Monk Takla El-Samueli
– Monk Yostos Ava Marcos
– Monk Mina Ava Marcos
In the Archdiocese of South Africa tomorrow, Sunday, at 10 AM.
His Holiness Pope Tawadros II delegated Their Grace Bishop Boules, General Bishop of Evangelism in Africa, Bishop Joseph, Bishop of Namibia and its Dependencies, and Reverend Father Elisha Rizk, Priest of St. Mark’s Church in Washington, to attend the funeral prayers.
The bodies will be returned to Egypt, after completing travel procedures, to pray over them and bury them in the Monastery of Saint Samuel the Confessor in Mount Qalamoun.
