This evening, at the new Administrative Building, H.H. Pope Tawadros II met with H.G. Bishop Mikhael, General Bishop of Hadaia El Qobba & El-Waili, Cairo and with him were the priests of the district and their wives.
At the beginning of the meeting, H.G. Bishop Mikhael gave a speech where he congratulated H.H. for the 10th anniversary of his Enthronement and his 70th birthday. H.G. also congratulated H.H. for the inauguration of the new administrative building. H.G. then also presented to H.H. a report on the services in the district.
H.H. then gave a speech where he welcomed the Bishop, priests and their wives, referring to this meeting to be the fourth meeting with the priests to be held at the new administrative building.
H.H. then read a part of the Epistle to Philippians, chapter four, and discussed the topic of “The Life of Satisfaction” through it, referring to satisfaction as faithful and positive feeling. It is to accept life as it is and to have an eye that sees God’s hands are there (Divine Grace) and it is also:
A personal nature
Lifestyle
A sign of successful
H.H. then asked the question: what prevents a man from living the life of satisfaction? Then H.H. said the answer to it
Ego
Greed
Being mysterious and lack of transparency
H.H. concluded that satisfaction is a feeling within a person, and the Churches teaches us it in the prayer of the Prayer of Thanksgiving, and H.H. warned from the word “how come” and to avoid frowning.
At the end of the meeting, H.H. answered the questions of the attendees and gave them a memorial gift and then they all took a memorial picture with H.H.
