The Center is under the guidance and encouragement of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Head of all Coptic Orthodox religious Colleges and Theological Institutions.
The Center serves Clergy and servants who are graduates of the Theological College of Alexandria.
Location: The Theological College of Alexandria
Mission and Goals:
+ Presenting the Orthodox Christian faith through condensed and consistent courses.
+ Preparing a generation that is well-informed and well-aware of their Bible, their Church, and their Doctrine.
+ Preparing interested participants with Ecclesiastical knowledge against wars of doubt.
+ Encouraging participants to enroll in further studies and in more specialized fields in the future.
Activities and Services:
+ The center’s activities and services started immediately after the establishment of the family of graduates of the Theological College of Alexandria on 1/10/2018. Seven consecutive courses were offered in various theological and ecclesiastical studies, with an overall attendance of more than 1400 students from various churches in Alexandria.
+ During the Coronavirus pandemic, the Center had to deal with the new situation and the challenging circumstances, and so the fathers and servants decided to offer courses online. A total of 120 thousand students, from 57 countries, participated in these online courses, among whom were 1017 priests, 116 monks, and 213 consecrated sisters. In addition, some of our brothers and sisters with special needs and others who are visually impaired were also able to participate, for the Center was able to offer them all course instructional material in a format suitable to their special needs.
+ The Center offered a course titled “You are a Star” for Middle and High School aged youth, starting with a special lecture given by H.H. Pope Tawadros II titled “The Book … My Best Friend.” The greatest honor and blessing was the presence of H.H. Pope Tawadros II at the celebration and award distribution ceremony for the top students in the course. Nearly 33,000 youth participated in the course, from various dioceses both inside and outside of Egypt. Moreover, the Center worked on translating into English all course lectures and exams, in order to better serve the youth in the land of immigration.
+ Currently, the Center is working on designing an online Educational Platform that will include all courses offered. Through this platform, participants will be able to access all instructional material and complete previously offered courses.
+ You can get in touch with the Center using the official page on Facebook, titled:
