Eyon Misr is a chain of schools, child creativity centers and educational enhancement programs to develop students into good effective citizens, thinkers, innovators, and leaders, who can coexist and collaborate in a diverse world.
The Coptic Church embarked on an ambitious initiative to build schools in Egypt, as well as extending its hand to support the education of refugee children in Cairo, through a school that has been established specifically for this group. Following the footsteps of Jesus Christ, the Coptic Church is also extending support to African countries and has contributed to the establishment of the first Coptic school in Burundi.
The program also supported various activities related to education in Egypt, including the summer language teaching program in Cairo, the Egypt Eyes Center for Child Creativity, the scholarship program for education abroad, education grants, the technical training program for youth, and awareness sessions in various aspects. It works to enhance children’s creativity and help them realize their self-esteem, reduce the number of street children, reduce child labor and avoid school dropouts, make better use of children’s free time and summer vacations, and equal opportunities that ensure gender equality.
