His Holiness Pope Tawadros II met this evening at the Papal Residence in Cairo with Fr. Daoud Lamei, priests and leaders of the service of St. Paul the Apostle for preaching, and to know about their program in preparing preachers and the activity of the Institute of Evangelism and the countries they serve in Africa, Asia and Europe.
His Holiness gave them an spiritual speech and listened to their questions and suggestions regarding the service that the Coptic Orthodox Church performs on behalf of Egypt through several development projects that serve the communities of those countries, such as schools, medical centers, guest houses, and others.
H.H. thanked them at the end of the meeting and promised them to repeat this meeting annually.
At the end of the meeting, His Holiness distributed some souvenirs to them, and some pictures were taken of them with His Holiness.
