His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, witnessed part of the annual celebration of the Church of the Martyr Saint George in Manial, affiliated with the Old Cairo Churches District, on the occasion of Nayrouz.

The celebration was held at the St Rewise Theater in the St. Mark’s Cathedral in Abbaseya, during which the services of the church presented a number of performances, at the end of the summer activity of these services.

H.H. was keen to encourage the participants in the celebration, praising the great effort they made throughout the summer, and photos were taken with His Holiness the Pope.
